In this course that I took in my final semester at UMass, students were given the opportunity to intern with the UMass Masters of Fine Arts' Visiting Writers' Series. The VWS hosts four writers each Fall for readings of their work and a reception to celebrate them.

In this class, I attended the four VWS events and wrote blog posts afterwards detailing what occurred at the events. I learned a lot about literary programming from attending these events and writing about them, and I learned a lot about editing and publishing from our class discussion sections as well.
